ENVIRONMENTAT HEALTH AND SAFETY COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST / PROJECT MANAGER

Candidate should have 4+ years of experience in the environmental consulting, including project management experience. We require a candidate that has a strong work ethic, enjoys taking on responsibility and client service, works independently as well as part of a team, and is motivated to perform high quality work.

Experience requirements include:

  • Compliance audits
  • Tier II and Form R reporting under EPCRA
  • Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure (SPCC) plans
  • Storm water experience
  • Air permits and Source Registration
  • Wastewater discharge permits
  • Hazardous waste reports
  • Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S)
  • Risk Management Plans and Process Safety Management
  • OSHA compliance reporting and planning
  • Toxic Use Reduction plans
  • Regulatory interpretation
  • Enforcement negotiations

Educational and Position requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field;
  • Knowledge of federal and state (New England Region) environmental permit regulations;
  • Strong computer and verbal/written communication skills;
  • Business development experience; and
  • Health & Safety experience a plus.

SENIOR MANAGER

A motivated senior manager with 10+ years experience in environmental/hazardous waste consulting and senior oversight of client accounts to manage our office.

Qualifications:

  • Strong business development skills with client relationships
  • knowledge of state and federal regulations
  • staff management/mentoring skills
  • professional registration

Compensation, including potential for ownership, commensurate with ability to develop new business opportunities, knowledge of regulations, and account/client/staff management skills.


ENTRY-LEVEL ENGINEER/GEOLOGIST

An entry-level staff engineer/geologist with a geotechnical and environmental engineering background.

Qualifications / Responsibilities:

  • basic understanding of soil mechanics and ground water hydrogeology
  • field investigation and observation
  • elevation surveying
  • sample collection
  • log preparation
  • data evaluation,tabulation and calculations
  • cost analyses
  • computer modeling
  • report preparation

MID-LEVEL GEOENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/GEOLOGIST

A mid-level staff geoenvironmental engineer/geologist.

Qualifications / Responsibilities:

  • 4 to 7 years of geotechnical and environmental engineering experience
  • site investigation
  • interpretation
  • hydrogeology
  • fate and transport
  • solid technical writing and communication skills
  • familiarity in applying regulations.

Additional desirable qualifications would include a Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist registration and the ability to bring in new projects.
